The annual Parade of Lights takes place on Friday, December 5, 2025, and will feature the much-anticipated Parade on Grand Ave with all your custom creations, Fireworks, Santa...and ::drumroll please:: our inaugural Hot Cocoa Competition!

How to participate:
1. Cook up your favorite cocoa recipe. 2. Serve it up at your place of business on December 5th during the Parade of Lights 3. Have the public taste-testers VOTE for your cocoa!
To vote, parade attendees much visit the DNCC Table the night of December 5th (location: 710 Grand - Corner of Spruce & Grande at Del Norte Outdoors/SLV Photo Studio) to receive tokens.
To receive tokens, attendees must donate a canned good or a toy for our valley community food & toy drives hosted by the DNCC in coordination with SLV non-profits. Each registered business will be provided a voting can that attendees can drop the token in as their vote (3 tokens total per attendee).
Cans will be collected by 8:30PM on parade night and counted.
Winners will be notified directly and announced on the DNCC Facebook and Instagram pages the following week!
